Our mixed wood is great for short fires that are not over 6hrs because of it's short burn time and easy start. Not recommended for cooking or for people with wood allergies due to being made up of sometimes ten or more different types of wood.

Oak burns very hot, but what makes special is it has the longest burn time of all firewood in Tennessee, this makes it great for wood stoves and camping/bonfires. The one downsides to Oak is it can take up to 1.5 hours (in an indoor fireplace) to reach its peak heat level, and is extremely difficult to start with larger pieces (small pieces are easy). Not recommended for fires shorter then 3-4hrs. Bottom line, oak is for people who want to get the most burn for their buck.

Hickory is the fifth highest BTU rated wood in the USA, and the third in middle Tennessee. Hickory is best known for BBQ but it is also great for heating home especially with a wood stove. Hickory burns up to 2x longer and 3x hotter than our standard mixed firewood. A couple things to remember when buying Hickory is it actually burns hotter when it's wet/green, and has an incredibly short storage life; so we recommend that hickory is used within the first four months after production.

Cherry is one of the best firewoods for cooking and smoking. It has a much more distinct flavor and smell compared to other cooking woods. It's also easy to start, and burns extremely hot, and Cherry looks great too, it might just be our most attractive firewood we sell. We do not recommend using Cherry if you have asthma or are sensitive to strong smells, because Cherry has a nice, sweet, but potent smell.
